It has been a crazy 5 months since I got back from the US. I’ve been meaning to write this for the past couple of months since I got back but the words would come and get stuck somewhere then get lost again in that noggin’ of mine. Thankful for the life experience it has given me and how it has truly opened up my views and changed some perspectives. Words cannot express the gratitude for those I have interacted with over there. It was a very good two years for me and hopefully, I will find the time to go back to see you guys in the near future. A big thank you goes out to friends/employers like Dylan & Robyn from Onion, photography and design and KC from KC Kratt Photography for their time to teach me what they know and to allow me the exposure of shooting and working there. Without people like them, I wouldn’t have progressed so quickly.
For those who have been fans of Shutterd Pictures, you knew this was coming and please don’t worry. All the old content will still be there but I am just moving on this new identity! Current clients this move is precisely to serve you better with a better support structure.
Since I’ve come back, it has been a whirlwind of activity. A very fortunate meeting with my good friend and mentor, Ejun, earlier in October when I actually proposed to co-share or rent some of his studio space turned into a proposal to go into a partnership. Since then, we have gone on various commercial and video projects for several big names in the industry. Still, we have not forgotten my first love of photography. It gives me great joy and honour to launch this new identity and website, specially catered to wedding photography. As I have written in my bio, there is no greater joy for me than to photograph weddings. To perfectly capture the emotion of the day within the still frame and to be able to bring those emotions back as memories for the couple. Every wedding, I will strive to photograph each better than the last, knowing that each would be more exciting than the last.
Thank yous go out to Ejun, Jingle, my business partners for helping me to plan, structure and build this new arm of their business. To the support team, without which I am but one man, and a rather helpless one at certain aspects ie. website and logistics. A big thank you to the design team at Anamics Creative Group, without which the whole identity would not be complete, Cindy and David, you guys rock! Last but not least, I am thankful to each and everyone of you who have viewed the works, left a word of encouragement, pointed out a mistake, supported me silently in your own little ways without which I would have never made it this far. It is through all your encouragement and support that this passion of mine has been made into a reality.. so here I present to you, the brand new Joel Lim Weddings.

It would be most thoughtful of you to visit and like our Facebook page: JOEL LIM WEDDINGS or follow me on Twitter @crzyjoel or use any of the links to spread the word! Once again, thank you for the support!
